I’d really appreciate advice on: For roles like server integration / DC hardware support / test engineering in Taiwan, is Mandarin effectively mandatory? Which company types/roles are more open to English-only candidates (multinationals, export-focused teams, DC operations, ODM/OEM labs, etc.)? If Mandarin is needed, what level is typically enough (meetings, ticketing, reporting)? What should I prioritize to increase my chances: Mandarin, certifications, or technical skills (Linux/networking/Python/automation/OpenBMC)?
