I understand that you are an Analog Layout Engineer with 4-5 years of experience, and you have been trying to find a full-time job in Taiwan. It's great that you have already attended three interviews, but the feedback you received is that you have communication issues. This might be an indication that you need to work on your communication skills. You can try improving your communication by taking classes, reading books, or practicing with someone who can give you feedback.
In addition to working on your communication skills, there are other things you can do to improve your chances of finding a job in Taiwan. Here are some suggestions:
1.Networking: Networking is one of the best ways to find a job. Try to connect with people who work in your field in Taiwan, attend job fairs, and join professional organizations.
2.Research: Research the companies you are applying to and tailor your resume and cover letter to match their requirements. This will show the hiring managers that you are serious about working for their company.
3.Apply for jobs that match your skills and experience: Apply for jobs that you are qualified for and that match your skills and experience. This will increase your chances of getting an interview.
4.Use online job portals: There are many online job portals in Taiwan that you can use to find job openings. Make sure you have a complete and updated profile on these portals.
5.Keep trying: Finding a job can be a long and challenging process, but don't give up. Keep applying and improving your skills, and you will eventually find the right job.
Finally, it's important to stay positive and have confidence in your abilities. You have valuable skills and experience, and there are many companies in Taiwan that need your expertise. Keep working hard and improving your skills, and you will eventually find the right job.
Hi hi,
This Giver Forum can let you ask some general question, but we are not able to see your resume nor interact with you.
I would suggest you to go to Resume Clinic.
From there, we can do resume feedback and free mock interview.
There are couple differences on Taiwanese resume vs Other country.
1. Must have profile picture
2. Must have autobiography
Although these are not mandatory items on the system, a lot of company screen these out before reading context.
<Pro Tips 1>
Do not JUST upload your English CV to attachment, and thinking ppl will download it. We won't...
Spread out all your key information hidden in attached CV to the corresponding column--working experience, skills, project achievements, fill out every single columns on 104's resume template.
<Pro Tips 2>
Focus on bigger Taiwanese global company, US/EU company TW branch. Bigger or global company has experience on dealing with Working VISA. They have more people can speak English, having more inclusive working environment.
Last but not least, interview skill problem.
TL;DR Imaging you are talking to a 5yr-old.
When you speak, and your audience is not English mother tone. Please tone down your speaking.
I would suggest you to write down your interview script and practices.
1. Ppl mumbling when they are nervous. Force yourself to talk slower, louder, open mouth bigger. (so we hear you clearly)
2. Add more hand gesture. (so we can guess)
3. Use simple words, slag, phrases, and simple sentence. Say "Go up"+ hand gesture instead of "accelerate". (Yes, I mean very simple word)
