I’m currently pursuing my M.S. in Electrical Engineering (VLSI CAD) at NCKU, with a focus on low-power and digital IC design (CGPA 3.9/4.3). I have hands-on experience in RTL design, synthesis, and verification using tools like VCS, Verdi, Design Compiler, ICC2, and PrimeTime.

Recently, I worked on a TSMC 40nm SoC tape-out project, where I handled RTL integration and FPGA-based pre-silicon verification on a RISC-V platform. I have also designed a DDR4 memory controller with different scheduling policies and built a pipelined RISC-V SoC with AXI interface, cache, DMA, and CDC support.

In addition, I’m currently working as a Teaching Assistant for Low-Power VLSI and Digital IC Design courses, where I guide students on RTL design, synthesis, and timing analysis.

Regarding Mandarin, I have basic proficiency and I’m actively improving, but I’m comfortable working in English technical environments.

I would really appreciate your feedback on how I can improve my chances for Digital IC Design roles in Taiwan. Thank you!

thank you for sharing me the information of background. Actually, you are on the way to being one of the semiconductors members. I will recommend you think about you want to focus on upstream of process or down stream of process. Then, search the relevant company and find the job which you really want to deep in for the recently 2-3 years. wish you all the best. ^_^
