Hello! It's great that you're looking to apply for accounting jobs in Taiwan. Here are some steps you can take to start the process:

Online Job Portals:
Explore Taiwanese job portals and websites where companies post job openings. Websites like 104 Job Bank and LinkedIn can be good starting points.

Company Websites:
Visit the career sections of Taiwanese companies' websites directly. Many companies post job openings on their official websites.

Networking:
Leverage professional networks, both online and offline. Join LinkedIn groups related to finance and accounting in Taiwan, and attend industry events or webinars to expand your network.

Language Proficiency:
While English is often used in multinational companies, having a basic understanding of Mandarin can be beneficial. Some job postings may require Mandarin proficiency, so consider taking language courses if needed.

Accounting Standard:
Taiwan uses T-IFRS as an accounting standard, which is IFRS-based. You need to make sure you know the IFRS instead of GAAP.

Remember that the process may take time, and persistence is key. Good luck with your job search!

Hello, I'm glad to hear that you're planning to work in Taiwan. I'd like to suggest that you first acquaint yourself with the requirements for finance and accounting positions in Taiwan, including any necessary certifications or qualifications you may need to obtain through exams.
In addition, have you considered which specific industries or sectors you're targeting, or perhaps whether you're interested in positions within publicly listed companies? Larger-scale companies typically have official websites with language options where you can find information about job vacancies. Generally, these kinds of companies have their own human resources databases where you can submit your information for consideration.
If you prefer not to rely on intermediaries or recruitment agencies to assist with your job search in Taiwan, the most ideal approach would be to have a track record and career performance that sufficiently demonstrate your value, thus persuading companies to hire you as a foreign employee. In my experience working for a multinational corporation, we had numerous foreign employees who showcased excellent job performance, prompting the company to incur the additional costs associated with hiring them. Therefore, it's essential to effectively demonstrate your professional value and possess a track record and performance that add value in order to capture the attention of potential employers.
OK, I hope my response has been helpful to you, and I wish you success in your job search!
